Taller showcases modern Latin American cooking with variations from Scandinavian as well as Asian cuisine. The chefs behind Taller are seasoned veterans from the restaurant business and have worked at Ell Bulli, NOMA, Dennis Martin, Namnam, and Meyers.
“Our focus is making good food, while challenging ourselves creatively in the kitchen. It’s not about using the latest techniques, but rather about the techniques that best suit the produce,” chef Karlos Ponte explains. He is a well known face in Venezuela because he is the host of a cookery show on TV, in which he travels around the country and tests local dishes.
